ok heres the cover to issue 4... this is where jules gets in to the fight with the mess in the undergorund...

inspired mainly by the deathball stuff from alita battle angel, when this finally sees the light of day again you'll see why ;)

still quite pleased with this image, wasn't so great at faces back then... not that i am now, but a little better now than then ;)

colored by my little mate len :)

Like the new look; The mile-wide yap was just too creepy.
Like "big-boing" from naturo, the mouth kills it.

This is a "pick me up and buy me" cover.

Wow, I can't beleive it! I find the creator of Bazooka Jules on DA! I just recently looked into the little series and hit the internet as soon as I could to find out why this series didnt keep running. Obviously, after seeing the fans and their fanwork for the series, it couldnt have died early due to quality reasons, lol. It's great to know you're still working well on Comics though, but I'd love to finally see more Bazooka Jules. I was kinda getting used to the big grin though, hehe, obviously though this does look much more evolved compared to the old work, and although I did start to see her big pearly whites as part of her character, she does look more appealing with a smaller mouth.

Your one of my favorite artists right now. I love Wild Cats. Keep up the good work.

Wow. This takes me back. I bought the first three issues of Jules (and Puncture, too, actually, and I think the two issues of Cla$$war I could find). Did #4 ever come out?

"JULES, LOOK OUT!" Too bad when I shout, comic characters never hear me. This is awesome stuff, the mood the look on her face, cool stuff. By the way, her face looks more feminine here than it did on cover 1. Just saying...

christ the work back on jules was awful... jules often went from looking like a teenage girl to a 45 year old man... the huge mouth thing just wasn't working (its why i've never put up some of the earlier covers ;))

but thats the learning process, at least i can look back and see my progress... :)

Haha, so varyating? Now however, you have a lot better grasp on your style, aye? I had a talk with my local comic shop, said he didn't particularly like your work, sometimes, he said, your characters don't quite look the same in one page. I noticed it, I just didn't care =)

yeah, things just take time i guess... i'm not to bothered about making characters spot on time after time to be honest, deadlines dont afford me the time to be too picky :)

so long as the story can be followed and so characters dont look so stupidly different (like they used to in jules) it makes it tricky to see whats going on i dont really care to much now

story telling and deadlines, thats whats most important in comics... if you cant make them, you'll; not survie.

its why so many artists go so cartoon like and so many of their characters look exactly the same with different hair styles... is an easy trick... one i'd rather not use personally :)

So far, I've been liking your comics a lot, so don't worry. And you still did one hell of a job on Majestic, so no worries from me there.
